President’s Message
Just imagine a world in which every member of society gave back. By helping a neighbor, by volunteering, by paying it forward… What a kinder, better world we would live in. What a better tomorrow we would all have. This is what our non-profit organization is all about. Giving back for a better tomorrow so others can live a better life. Perhaps a more fulfilling, more rewarding and, hopefully, happier life. By doing our part, I believe we can make a difference in tomorrow. This is our motto and this is just the beginning of Making Tomorrow Better.
Creating awareness of worthy causes & educating the public
For 2022, we are focused on mental health and what we, as a non-profit organization and as members of our community, can do to support charities that offer assistance for those in need. We want to encourage more conversation about mental health so we can help accelerate growing acceptance and erase the stigma.
Raising money through non-profit fundraising
Every year we will host a fundraising event in support of a charity or recognized service that aids those in our community. For 2022, our focus is to give back to the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division. Visit CMHA for more information about mental health, available services and events.
Our Purpose
The purpose of our society is to bring people together to help make our community better by organizing non-profit fundraisers, creating awareness of worthy causes, and educating the public.
